Who we are

South Namibia Conference is the administrative organisation of the South African Union Conference in the southern part of Namibia.

As the Seventh-day Adventist Church, we have been in Namibia since 1920. We, as the SNC has been organised into the South Namibia Conference at our last session in April 2016.

As Seventh-day Adventists we believe in the one and only God and Creator of the universe as stipulated in the Bible. We believe the Bible is the word of God given to humanity as the guiding principle for life and for salvation through Jesus Christ.

Our mission is to tell the world of the salvation found only in Jesus Christ, the crucified Son of God, as per His command given in Mat 28:19-20.

Total member involvement is an answer to the call that Jesus gave to the church to go out and make disciples for His kingdom. Every member of the church is called to the privilege to partake in the salvation gospel of Jesus Christ by helping to spread the gospel message in one form or another.

Only when everybody is involved by doing something for the kingdom of God, will we be able to spread the gospel effectively.

We are not all preachers, but we are all neighbours, friends, colleagues, mentors, or parents.

By doing our part, as small as it might be, we are working for God in the salvation of sinners.
